Antimicrobial performance provider Noble Biomaterials has teamed up with Taiwanese company e.dye for a fabric system they say delivers permanent colour and permanent antimicrobial protection while removing 80% of the water and dyes used in a conventional process.

The two companies will present Prism at the Functional Fabric Fair in Portland (November 11 to 13), having formed a partnership at the event last year.

In addition, Noble will present Ionic+ Botanical, a plant-based antimicrobial fabric finish, and Ionic+ CoolPro, a fabric with antimicrobial benefits and cooling performance.
