New chapter opens for Adanola
Activewear brand Adanola has announced that a minority investment provided by Story3 values the DTC UK-based brand at approximately $530 million. The label specialises in mid-priced activewear and was founded in 2015. Last year, a new CEO was hired, Niran Chana (formerly Gymshark’s head of sales), to scale the business. 

The label, which celebrities in the likes of Kendall Jenner and Kaia Gerber appreciate, has had success some of its ‘cult’ products, such as the Ultimate Leggings with over 1.5 million units sold, the brand said. 

The influx of new funds will allow the brand to expand its product ranges and international scope. “Adanola has garnered uniquely strong and authentic relationships with consumers, and we believe the business is in the early stages of powerful global growth,” commented Peter Comisar, founder and managing partner of Story3. 

Story3 invested in Recover, a cotton mechanical recycling company, in late 2020.
