Germany-based Outlast says its latest fabric development surprises those who touch it as it is “exceptionally cool to the touch”.

The development, called Bailey, combines a high heat absorption capacity with a naturally cooling surface, using lyocell as a base material and is manufactured in Europe.

Excess heat is absorbed, stored and released when needed, claims Outlast. Temperature peaks are effectively reduced, sweating is minimised and a balanced, comfortable microclimate is supported.
