EOCA outlines 2025 success as it moves to Brussels

As it approaches its 20-year anniversary, the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) has  published its 2025 Impact Report it which it outlines the projects supported during the year.

Antje Fehling, EOCA president, said: “With another hottest year on record, the 1.5°C target slipping further from reach, and biodiversity loss continuing at pace, the need for meaningful action has never been clearer.

“Yet, amid these challenges, there are tangible signs of progress — from the growth of renewable energy to the continued commitment of organisations working to protect and restore the natural world."

It has also announced a move to Brussels to "deepen collaboration within Europe’s NGO and outdoor community".

“We have refined our grant processes, increased our presence at key events, and continue to work closely with our members to communicate our shared mission: strengthening the business case for nature and investing in its future," added Ms Fehling.

EOCA is comprised of over 130 outdoor industry companies (manufacturers, retailers, brands). It has contributed more than €6 million to conservation and rewilding projects since 2006, supporting over 220 initiatives across 65 countries.
