Canada Goose heads to UK
17/04/2014
The company, which manufactures its signature down-filled jackets in Canada, has grown more than 4,000% in the past decade and earned £81.5m last year.
"We went against the grain many years ago by choosing to invest in manufacturing at home, because it was – and is – the right thing to do. We're driven to produce the best luxury performance outerwear that's made where it should be, and that's what consumers are responding to," said its CEO, Dani Reiss.
Building on the success of its parka styles, the Outdoor Performance collection now also includes lightweight down pieces and waterproof shells which meet the seasonal and climate needs of Europe.
The new London base will house the European marketing and UK and Ireland sales teams. The showroom carries the full collection of Outdoor Performance, Branta, and Youth, Kids and Baby collections.
In the past five years, Canada Goose has opened European offices in Sweden, Germany and Finland.
