Deckers awarded for energy efficiency

The 190,000 square foot building - which houses its flagship store - was designed with environmentally friendly features including parking spaces for energy-efficient cars, power stations for electric vehicles, bike storage and showering facilities, irrigation and water drainage systems, and recycled building materials.
Deckers CEO Angel Martinez said: "We're pleased that our beautiful building ranks among the best for its friendliness to the environment and we're thrilled to share this facility with the thousands of consumers who will pass through our doors every year."
