Revenues up for Yue Yuen

Outsource athletic and outdoor footwear manufacturer Yue Yuen has reported revenues of almost $3.5 billion for the first five months of 2015.

This represents an increase of 7.8% for the Taiwan-based company compared to the same period in 2014.

Yue Yuen’s current list of clients includes Nike, adidas, Reebok, ASICS, New Balance, Puma, Under Amour, Converse, Merrell, Salomon and Timberland.

It has more than 400,000 employees, most of whom work in its footwear production plants. It has five production facilities in China and one each in Vietnam and Indonesia. In 2014, it produced 307.1 million pairs of shoes.
