Growth continues for biggest sports shoe supplier

The Taiwanese giant has reported around 10% growth per month over the past couple of years, although there was a dip in August.
In the January to October period, sales rose 7% to $7 billion.
Yue Yuen supplies to brands including Nike, Nike, adidas, Reebok, Asics, New Balance and Puma. It was plagued by staff strikes in early 2014 but hired extra HR managers to rectify the situation.
Group-owned sportswear retailer Pou Sheng’s sales increased 15% to $214,356.
The group produces 300 million pairs of shoes per year; around 20% of the wholesale value of the global branded athletic and casual footwear market. It has more than 400,000 employees, most of whom work in its footwear production plants.
