Speakers line up for IAF convention

The International Apparel Federation (IAF) has announced that speakers from Speedo owner PVH, Esquel and Hugo Boss talk on compliance and technology at the 33rd World Fashion Convention in Brazil in mid-October.

Marissa Pagnani, PVH’s vice-president of corporate responsibility, will talk on why the company was voted number two for human rights in Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens List.

Joachim Hensch, managing director of Hugo Boss Textile, will give his vision of how industry 4.0 and the digitalisation of production processes can boost productivity and flexibility.

Esquel is one of the world’s larger manufacturers with an annual production of over 100 million pieces and with over 57,000 employees. Its CEO, John Cheh, will explain how the group is committed to sustainability and worker welfare.
