Domestic recovery for Italian textile machinery manufacturers

Italian textile machinery manufacturers registered a 26% year-on-year increase in orders during the second quarter of 2017, according to the latest data from the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT).

Domestic orders saw a 66% rise in orders during the period from April to June, while orders from overseas markets increased 22%.

“The data confirms that a recovery is currently underway for our domestic market,” said Alessandro Zucchi, president of ACIMIT.
