Icebreaker strengthens North American team

Specialist merino apparel brand Icebreaker has expanded its leadership team in North America with two new appointments. 

Josh Vaughan will take on the role of head of wholesale for the region. He has been at Icebreaker for five years, firstly as a key account manager and most recently as head of retail for the Australian market. 

He will be joined by Trudie Abel, who has been named as the company’s new head of marketing for North America. She moves from her role as global marketing manager.

International sales account for 86% of Icebreaker’s total revenue, according to Justin Walford, the company’s general manager of North America. He explained that these appointments reflect the importance of the North American business for the future growth of Icebreaker.
