Smartwool opens its first store in Canada

VF-owned brand Smartwool has opened a new retail store in the Canadian mountain town of Banff. It is the brand’s first store in the country.

It will stock a range of Smartwool products, including baselayers, insulated midlayers, outerwear, accessories and performance socks, as well as a selection of footwear from Timberland, which is also part of VF’s portfolio. 

“An iconic international outdoor destination, Banff is the quintessential expression of mountain culture, which makes it the ideal location for our first Canadian Smartwool store,” said Corey Stecker, Smartwool Canada sales & marketing director. “We could not be more excited to create a Smartwool retail experience that both serves the local and visiting outdoor enthusiast and allows us to showcase our full brand story.”
