Williamson-Dickie contributes to strong quarter for VF

Apparel and footwear group VF Corporation has reported revenue of $3 billion during the first quarter of 2018, an increase of 17% in currency neutral terms.

This included a strong contribution from workwear brand Williamson-Dickie, which VF acquired for $820 million in August 2017. 

VF’s outdoor and action sports division, which includes brands like The North Face, Vans, Timberland and Smartwool, recorded a 13% increase in revenue. This was driven by a 39% increase in revenue from Vans and a 7% increase in revenue from TNF. 

VF’s international revenue grew 16% year on year.
