X-Bionic creates clothing for Harley Davidson riders

The collection has been designed for renowned US motorcycle manufacturer Harley Davidson. It integrates more than eight of X-Bionic’s innovative technologies in order to “effectively channel” the rider’s energy.
This includes its MacroSphere system on the chest, lower abdomen and back, which keeps the wearer cool when they sweat and warm when they are cold. A multi-dimensional air canal system made up of finely woven fabric continuously regulates temperature in the trousers and the shirt.
The clothing is designed to stay put in all conditions. It does this thanks to an active band built into the top and trousers, as well as what X-Bionic calls Expansion Ribs in the top. This provides the rider with optimum support.
Upon announcing the launch of the collection, Professor Bodo Lambertz, founder of X-Bionic, said: “Our guiding principle – ‘Turn sweat into energy’ – is not just the foundation of success for optimised functional clothing worn by athletes. Bionic insights enable a unique symbiosis between man and bike. Our innovative high-tech textile processing allows motorcyclists to become one with their machine.”
