Graphene footwear brand opens first shop

Inov-8’s chief operating officer Michael Price joined Matt Bland, managing director of Pete Bland Sports, to cut the ribbon (pictured). The local retailer was the first to stock inov-8’s products, in 2003.
The Staveley shop will become the start location for run and hike routes of the local trails and fells, while also hosting live speaker events and product taster sessions.
Mr Price said: “We hope The Forge will become a real hub for adventure-loving locals and tourists who enjoy running, hiking and fitness.”
Inov-8 recently launched graphene-infused foam in trail running shoes, which will be covered in the next issue of WSA.
