Skims lands in Hong Kong and Shanghai
Culver City, California-based shapewear, lingerie and leisurewear brand Skims, co-founded by Kim Kardashian West and Good American chief executive and co-founder, Emma Grede, recently launched in Greater China via local department store Lane Crawford.
Ms Kardashian West revealed the news to her more than 265 million Instagram followers, reportedly telling them that expansion into other Asian markets would also be coming soon.
Initially, a range of 100 articles, personally curated by the American entrepreneur and media personality, will be stocked in Lane Crawford’s Hong Kong and Shanghai locations.
Ms Kardashian West told The New York Times earlier this year that Skims’ valuation now sits at around $1.6 billion, having been founded in 2019. The label outfitted Team USA’s female athletes in its underwear, loungewear and pyjamas for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
