Andar results show continued momentum
Seoul-based yoga and athletic leisure brand Andar has published figures for its fiscal performance over the fourth quarter of 2021.
Revenues reached roughly $27 million (32 billion South Korean won), representing a 17% rise on the previous quarter. The company cited its strategy of focusing on its customers’ individual healthy lifestyles as the main reason for this achievement, in addition to singling out its “unique” brand positioning.
It described this as trend-led, yet comfort-oriented, with use of high-quality fabrics. Since being absorbed by Eco Marketing last summer, Andar has also reorganised its direct-to-consumer distribution channels, it said.
An official spokesperson added that the business plans to expand its leggings category in 2022, on top of increasing sales of its men’s, homewear and “miscellaneous goods” collections.
Andar also launched a premium line in its home country last month.
