Keen demand for FibreTrace-verified cotton in Vietnam
Traceability technology provider FibreTrace, based in Singapore, has agreed a partnership extension with Vietnam-headquartered textile and yarn manufacturer Fashion Enterprise and “climate-positive” Australian fibre producer Good Earth Cotton.

Fashion Enterprise, whose teams span both Vietnam and China, specialises in producing both raw and dyed yarns, plus knitted and woven fabrics and garments, including denim. Its chief executive, Rodney Thanh, described Good Earth Cotton and FibreTrace as “the future of the fashion industry”.

FibreTrace is the brainchild of the Stathams, the Moree, New South Wales-based growers behind Good Earth Cotton. It was founded in 2018 to track their "carbon-positive" cotton throughout the textile and apparel supply chain (read more in WSA here).

After joining hands with Good Earth Cotton and, by extension FibreTrace, Fashion Enterprise said it can be confident of the low environmental impact of its “carbon-positive” cotton, which can be verified and audited in real-time.

“Good Earth Cotton, combined with the power of FibreTrace, is an indomitable tool for the global textile and fashion industry that allows brands to thoughtfully stay in control of their supply chain, while allowing customers to see the full journey of how their garments were made and who made them. This is true traceability and visibility,” Mr Thanh stated.
