FESI re-elects its president
The Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) re-elected Puma’s general counsel, Neil Narriman, as its president at the general assembly it held in Munich during the ISPO exhibition. He will continue to hold the position for the next three years.
Mr Narriman said that during the previous three years of his tenure had been “marked by many challenges and disruptions”. He added that, in spite of these difficulties, FESI had been able to “stand firm and support the industry in our various regulatory issues at EU level”.
Following elections at the meeting, brands and retailers that have representation on the new FESI board are Nike, adidas, Puma, Pentland, VF Corporation, Intersport, Lululemon and Deichmann. A number of national and regional industry organisations also have representation.
FESI also unveiled a new strategic development plan at the general assembly, outlining new activities and objectives for the next three years.
