Patagonia Korea meshes ePE and rPET with recycled down
Taking 2020's eco-minded agreement with WL Gore’s fabrics division, Gore-Tex, a step further, US outdoor company Patagonia’s South Korean arm has now brought new collection Radically Recycled to market.
Flagship product the Stormshadow parka notably combines a 100% recycled polyester (rPET) Gore-Tex shell, made from Bionic-collected plastic waste, with Gore’s expanded polyethylene or ePE membrane.
The padded jacket’s insulation material consists of 100% recycled, 700-fill-power down.
