Start-up introduces PFAS-free electrospun membrane

Philippine and Singapore-based startup Nibertex is making progress in the scaling up of an electrospun membrane. The company was founded in 2019 by two brothers, Jae H Park and Jae M, who were born in South Korea.

Electrospun membranes offer high breathability due to their non-woven structure.

This past April, the company closed a funding round led by Foxmont Capital Partners and supported by a group of Southeast Asian families. This will enable it to scale up production capabilities, intensify its R&D efforts and expand its sales locally and internationally, it said.
