H&M ups ski performance with rescue technology
After the success of its winter performance capsule in 2023, H&M has added Recco reflector technology to its Move ski collection.
The technology from the Swedish company is a two-part system, featuring an active detector, carried by the rescuer, and a passive reflector, carried by the user.
The handheld detector can locate reflectors within a range up to 80 metres through air and 20 metres through packed snow.
H&M Move has, for the third year running, collaborated with the expert outdoor agency Grand Studio to ensure the collection meets the requirements of mountain users. It features windproof, waterproof and breathable StormMove and the heat-retaining ThermoMove.
The range will offer a complete layering system featuring jackets and snow pants, two-layer and three-layer shell jackets, fitted ski trousers, non-quilted puffer jackets and 100% Merino base layers.
