FESI and WFSGI back women leadership initiative
The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) and the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) have endorsed the launch of Global Game Shapers (GGS), an international leadership network committed to empowering women leaders across the sporting goods industry.
The Global Game Shapers initiative was sparked after a gathering at ISPO in December 2024 and was co-founded by Charlotte Cox, former president of Pentland EMEA; Emma Zwiebler, CEO of WFSGI; and other senior industry leaders.
The launch event, held at Pentland Brands Office in London, included a keynote talk by Laura Youngson, CEO at IDA Sports, offering insights into inclusive leadership and impact.
Emma Zwiebler said: “This isn’t just about representation, it’s about unlocking the full potential of our industry. Global Game Shapers provides a space for mentorship, knowledge-sharing and leadership development to ensure the next generation of women leaders can thrive.”
