Under Armour is building a one million square-foot distribution and warehouse facility in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, which will be operational by 2016.

It will be Under Armour's third such facility in the US after one in the company’s hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, and another in Rialto, California.

The US sportswear company will invest over $100 million and will create 1,500 new jobs in the area over the next five years.

"Under Armour's mission is to make all athletes better, and that begins by building a great team and providing best in class service for our customers," said Under Armour COO Kip Fulks.
