SIA Snow Show to remain in Denver until 2030
31/01/2017
The announcement was made by SIA President Nick Sargent at the 2017 edition of the event, which took place from January 26 to 29.
“We look forward to continuing to build a lasting legacy with Colorado and are thrilled to announce the extension of our partnership with Denver,” he said. “Our focus is on creating growth and a positive future for the outdoor snow industry and Colorado’s likeminded approach makes for a great partner.”
The show relocated to Denver from Las Vegas in 2010. This move allowed SIA to add two days of on-mountain demos directly after the three-day show, where products are tested on the slopes. A contract was already in place for it to take place in the city until 2020.
SIA made a series of changes for the 2017 Snow Show, including a series of special exhibits and an enhanced market intelligence programme. It saw a total of 500 exhibitors in attendance, 90 of which were exhibiting for the first time.
