Stable sales for VF in 2016

It followed revenue of $3.3. billion in the fourth quarter of the year, level with the same period of 2015.
The company’s Outdoor & Action Sports division was the only one to see a growth in sales across the 12 months. Revenue from this segment was up 2% to $7.5 billion, driven by strong performance from footwear brand Vans; its sales increased 6% to $2.3 billion. Revenue from The North Face brand dropped 2% to $2.3 billion, but Timberland saw a 1% increase to $1.8 billion.
Revenue from VF’s Jeanswear division, which includes the Wrangler and Lee brands, fell 2% to $2.7 billion. Its Sportswear division, which is made up of the Nautica and Kipling brands, saw a 16% fall in revenue to $536 million.
VF’s international sales increased 4% year-on-year, with solid performance across all regions.
