A range of brands are now using PrimaLoft’s blowable insulation

Performance insulation and fabric developer PrimaLoft will use the forthcoming Outdoor Retailer + Snow Shoe (January 25-28 in Denver, US) to showcase some of the brands that will incorporate its Black Insulation ThermoPlume product into their Autumn 2018 collections. 

It introduced the product at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in January 2017, describing it as “the industry’s highest-performing blowable synthetic insulation”.

PrimaLoft has said the insulation delivers thermal properties “equivalent to 550 fill power down in construction” and that a proprietary water-resistant finish ensures warmth even in wet conditions.

At its booth in Denver, PrimLoft will display apparel pieces from companies including Aritzia, Bernardo, Frank & Oak, Lands’ End, Montane, New Balance, Orage and Tommy Hilfiger.
