Freudenberg joins bluesign programme

Explaining the company’s decision to become a bluesign partner, Freudenberg’s head of global strategic marketing, Benoit Cugnet, said: “At Freudenberg, sustainability is deeply anchored in our group values and principles. “As a reliable and responsible supplier of thermal insulation, it was a natural step for us to become a bluesign system partner,” he added.
At the forthcoming ISPO exhibition in Munich (January 28-31), Freudenberg will present a new Eco version of its comfortemp fiberball padding. It features 80% recycled fibre, with the remaining 20% consisting of binder components that are essential to the material's structure.
