Spinnova adds “missing link” to its research team

The company said she has good experience of materials, textile processes, quality assurance and production management, having worked in the textile industry in various capacities since 2001.
Ms Kyllönen will bring her knowledge of the technical textiles industry to the Spinnova team as it seeks to advance its R&D into the processing phases of fibres.
It recently completed research into carding and dry-spinning technology, enabling it to create a more comprehensive process for testing fibre quality at its pilot factory.
“The missing link in this phase of our growth story was a textile engineering expert that also knows the after-treatment processes,” said Spinnova CEO Janne Poranen. “With Anu, the Spinnova fibre development takes another leap forward.”
