Puma readies new North American HQ

“This new headquarters will allow us to better collaborate, foster diversity of thought, creativity and innovation, and have fun while doing it,” said Bob Philion, president and CEO of Puma North America.
Puma has agreed a long-term lease for a space on Somerville’s Grand Union Boulevard. It intends to build a five-floor facility on the currently empty site. Around 550 positions are expected to be created here once the move is complete. This will include those relocating from the two sites already mentioned. It will result in a 20% growth of its North American workforce.
In terms of the facility’s features, Puma has said it will have a roof deck with a recreational area and a basketball court. Employees will have access to a fitness centre and bike storage, among other areas.
