Footwear drives Puma to another record year
German sportswear group Puma achieved revenue of more than €4.6 billion in 2018. This represents currency-adjusted growth of 17.6% compared to the previous year, when the group recorded annual revenue of €4 billion for the first time.

Its profit on this revenue was €337 million, 37.9% higher than in 2017.

Apparel sales rose 22.2% to €1.7 billion and revenue from accessories increased 11% to €776 million.

Puma saw its revenue grow across all regions. In the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, sales were up 11.4% to €1.8 billion. Sales in the Americas increased 16.9% to €1.6 billion, while revenue from the Asia-Pacific region was up 28.8% to €1.2 billion.
