Reebok veteran Todd Krinsky (pictured), whose tenure is thirty years strong after first joining the Boston-based sportwear brand as an intern, has been named chief executive following Matt O’Toole’s move over to company owner Authentic Brands Group (ABG).

The executive’s most recent role prior to this latest appointment was that of senior vice-president for Reebok Design Group (RDG), the firm’s global product design, development and innovation hub.

Previously, Mr Krinsky served in various capacities across product development, merchandising and management, sports and entertainment marketing, and business unit and category leadership. His work has been especially instrumental to the success of the Reebok Classics business, which has enjoyed consistent growth for more than a decade, ABG said.

Speaking on his promotion, Mr Krinsky shared that he was excited to step into the new role and looked forward to working with colleagues “to unleash the full potential of Reebok worldwide”.

The company also revealed two additional changes to its senior leadership team in the wake of further internal promotions. Erika Swan has been made senior vice-president of global operations and sourcing at RDG, while John Moore has transitioned into the role of senior vice-president, US commercial market.
