Nike signs up for Loop Industries' T2T Twist
Hot off a partnership with Syre, also announced with week, Nike has signed another offtake agreement with Loop Industries. The Québec-based recycler will supply Twist, its virgin-quality polyester resin made exclusively from textile waste. The sports giant will be the ‘anchor customer’ of Loop’s first industrial scale factory currently in construction in India, through a joint venture with Ester Industries. 

Loop Industries will be integrating a chemical tracer in the resin to guarantee the textile-to-textile recycled content.
