European Outdoor Conservation Association will be celebrating its 10th anniversary at ISPO in Munich this month.

The association has raised €1.8 million from the outdoor industry over the decade, funding conservation projects in 36 countries, replanting and protecting forests, maintaining trails, removing rubbish, restoring habitats and protecting endangered species.

Currently 126 companies from the European outdoor industry are members of the Association, the latest being Throne, a Swedish outdoor garment supplier, and water filter brand WaterNlife.

At ISPO, EOCA will have a new stand, selling gear donated by members and will celebrate the anniversary with a party on the Monday evening.

Catherine Savidge, joint general manager of EOCA, said: “We have achieved significant conservation successes around the world and we look forward to working with them and our newest members in the future.”
