Footwear group Wolverine World Wide has appointed Thomas Hartge as vice president of global footwear for its Saucony running shoe brand. He replaces Patrick O’Malley who was recently named Saucony president.

“Tom personifies Saucony’s relentless commitment to elevate the running experience through performance innovation," said O’Malley.

Hartge counts Nike and Quiksilver amongst his previous employers during a 30-year career in the performance running footwear industry. His roles have included global brand director for Nike Running and executive vice president of footwear at Quiksilver.

“I’m excited to be part of the Saucony team for so many reasons, most of all to work with a group of passionate people who love nothing more than empowering runners with extraordinary product,” said Hartge.
