ZDHC programme names technology partner

The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) programme has named ADEC innovations, a data management and technology solutions company, as a strategic technology partner.  

ADEC jointly designed and developed the ZDHC Chemical Gateway, a product information database that allows chemical producers, brands and suppliers to make better sourcing decisions. 

"As data and disclosure is an important foundation to the ZDHC mission towards zero discharge of hazardous chemicals in the textile and footwear value chain, providing our varied stakeholders with underlying technology and data management solutions ensures that we make it as streamlined as possible to determine conformance against the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List," said Frank Michel, ZDHC executive director. 

"We are very pleased to be side-by-side with ZDHC at the forefront of helping chemical producers, manufacturers and suppliers of all types take steps toward safer and more sustainable operations,” added Robert Francisco, ADEC innovations president.
