Chinese manufacturer turns to Creora

Fabric manufacturer Best Pacific has partnered with elastane producer Hyosung to create a new range of fabrics designed for activewear products. 

The fabrics offer a variety of performance qualities, including improved moisture management, UV protection and increased freshness due to odour neutralising technologies. 

The Mipan Aqua x fabric uses the odour-neutralising elastane, Fresh, from Hyosung’s Creora spandex label. It also features in the new Freshgear odour naturalising polyester. 

Creora’s Powerfit elastane, which offers excellent heat resistance, has been used to create a hollow core polyester, which Best Pacific calls Aerowarm. It offers warmth without excessively increasing the weight of a garment.

The fabrics will be presented at ISPO 2017 in Munich (February 5-8).
