Gore Fabrics targets lifestyle brands

The fabrics division of WL Gore, which developed the Gore-Tex membrane solutions used in clothing and shoes, has unveiled a strategy to expand its presence in the lifestyle market.

Gore Fabrics plans to promote its fabric technologies to international urban and lifestyle fashion brands that are looking to develop apparel and footwear collections that combine style and design with performance and function. 

“Over the years, we have collaborated in long-term partnerships with lifestyle brands all over the world. Today, we want to start an innovative approach based on the concepts of Reworking, Design and Innovation to offer international urban lifestyle brands unique added value,” explained Nils Juhl, Gore Fabrics key account manager.
