Value-added products boost Unifi’s sales

The company said that its premium value-added (PVA) products, which include its Repreve brand of recycled fibres, made up 40% of its portfolio during the year.
In the final quarter of the year, it saw its sales grow 4.5%.
"The fourth quarter of fiscal 2017 continued to demonstrate the global opportunity of our growing portfolio of PVA products,” said Kevin Hall, who took up the position of Unifi CEO in May.
He expressed his confidence in the company’s “long-term potential” and said there were strong growth opportunities for Repreve and for its other PVA products.
