Titas 2017 gets underway
The 2017 edition of the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (Titas) is underway at the Taipei Nangang exhibition centre in Taiwan. It runs from October 16-18.

This is the 21st time that the event, co-organised by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF), has taken place; it had its inaugural edition in 1997 and has taken place every year since.

This year’s edition welcomes 400 exhibitors from all over the world in a total of 760 exhibition booths. 
The exhibitors are displaying a range of functional textiles for apparel, upholstery and industrial uses. As in previous years, a strong focus of the show is on sustainability and environmentally-friendly textiles. 

As well as the array of textiles on display, Titas 2017 also offers an extensive and diverse seminar programme. Among the topics covered this year are RFID solutions in the garment industry, the evolution of smart textiles and the latest trends in performance wool.
