ZDHC welcomes five new contributors

The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Foundation has announced that five new organisations have agreed to join its programme, which aims to achieve zero discharge of hazardous chemicals in the textile and footwear value chain.

All five join the initiative in the value chain affiliate category. They are:

Centre Testing International (CTI) – an approved third-party laboratory that provides RSL & environmental testing services to the footwear and textile manufacturing industry;
KINGDOM -  a leading manufacturer of 100% linen yarn; 
RES - a company specialising in the lamination of textile fabrics and bonding. It is also researching how material performance can be modified using nanotechnology; 
•Sun Wan – a seller of products such as disperse, acid, reactive and cationic dyes for use in textile dyeing and printing;
Taiwan Surfactant Corp. – Taiwan’s leading surfactant manufacturer.

The new partners bring the total number of ZDHC contributors to 75.
