EOCA celebrates success of ISPO fundraising
The European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) has announced it and its members raised €19,000 for conservation during February’s ISPO exhibition.

Its Conservation Fundraiser (pictured) features its largest number of items yet, with offerings including hammocks, skiwear, mugs and climbing harnesses. In addition, EOCA members like Bergans of Norway, Kleen Kanteen and Ternua held fundraising events on their own stands. All the money raised will be spent on the conservation projects EOCA supports.

Away from its fundraising efforts, the group has welcomed four new members. They are: Premons, Tarrago, Brettschneider Fernreisebedarf and MIZU.

EOCA also used ISPO to launch its new two-year focus: Plastic Free, Mountain to Sea. This programme aims to address the important issue of plastic pollution in the great outdoors. The target is for EOCA and its members to collectively clean 3,000 kilometres of habitat, trail and beach of plastic pollution over two years.
