Kolon Sport's livestreams help smash sales targets
South Korean sportswear brand Kolon Sport has more than doubled sales expectations through its live online shopping broadcasts on the Naver (frequently referred to as “the Google of South Korea”) shopping platform.
Kolon Sport launched its Naver shopping brand store in September. Between November 30 and December 6, the brand achieved more than double its sales targets, thanks to a single Naver shopping livestream during the week-long promotional event.
The week’s sales beat Kolon’s October brand store turnover 100 times over.
In a previous shoppable livestream on the platform, held on November 15, Kolon Sport’s total number of live broadcast viewers reached 33,000.
