South Korean media have reported the recent launch of a new information search service for sourcing recycled textile manufacturers in the country via the existing online database, Korea Textile, which is provided by the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI).   

Korea Textile is endorsed by the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), the nation’s textile industry and KOFOTI itself, as part of the United States-Korea Free Trade Agreement. 

The new online search service provides information on 184 companies, all of whom possess third-party international accreditation such as GRS (global recycled standard) and RCS (recycled claim standard) certification.
