Dynafit inaugurates new headquarters
23/09/2024
The 10,000-square-metre building combines two interlocking 32-metre high ‘mountain peak’ triangles and was designed by Barcelona-based architectural firm Barozzi Veiga. It features an innovative cooling system and shades to reduce its electricity needs and draw mainly on the company’s solar panels. The minimalist steel and glass building is said to echo the brand’s own minimalist, less is more approach to product design.
The brand’s new headquarters are divided between offices for its employees and spaces open to the public. These include a retail space offering Dynafit products along with those of Salewa, another Oberlap-owned company. It has a running and foot analysis device and ski boot fitting services are also proposed. A repair centre for apparel, footwear and sports equipment will take in products from all of the group’s brands (Pomoca, Wild Country, La Munt and Evolv).
The space also houses a micro ski manufacturing unit, the ‘Speed factory’, where customers can order custom-made skis. Finally, a Mountain Bistro serving regional and predominantly vegetarian cuisine is also on the site.
