Salomon shoes propel Amer Sports’ 30% leap
Amer Sports – owner of Arc’teryx, Salomon, Wilson, Peak Performance, and Atomic – has reported a jump in third quarter revenues, driven largely by increases in China.
Revenue increased 30% to $1.8 billion, with all four regions achieving double-digit growth while sales in China increased 47%.
Group CEO James Zheng said: "All three segments performed extremely well, led by exceptional Salomon footwear growth, an Arc'teryx omni-comp reacceleration and solid growth from Wilson Tennis 360 and our Winter Sports Equipment franchises.”
Amer Sports generated revenue of $5.2 billion in 2024. For the full year, the group is expecting revenue to be around 23% higher than last year.
