Lenzing fibres receive USDA Biobased certification

The company said that this means that all of its standard Lenzing fibres have now been verified as derived 100% from nature. Its Lyocell Tencel fibre was certified as 100% biobased in 2011 and its FR fibre has been certified as 99% biobased, with the remaining content consisting of the material used to make it fire-resistant.
“I am glad that our pioneering work for sustainability is being recognized by reviewers worldwide.
