Rossignol turns to 37.5 for new skiwear collection
French ski brand Rossignol has incorporated 37.5 thermoregulation technology from textile technology developer Cocona into a new range of training clothing aimed at cross-country skiers.

The technology takes its name from the optimum human body temperature, 37.5 degrees Celsius.

Rossignol has said that long-distance skiers expend a considerable amount of energy achieving and maintaining a comfortable body temperature. It explained that the addition of 37.5 technology to its new skiwear collection allows the wearer to save energy they would have otherwise used regulating their temperature.

The collection includes a range of pants, tights, tops and jackets for men and women.
Among the performance qualities of the garments that Rossignol has highlighted are faster drying, excellent breathability, windproofness and lightweight design.

“The combination of a Rossignol 37.5 base layer and a soft shell jacket is twice as effective in terms of drying and thermal control in comparison with any other combination of technical clothing,” it said.
