Anta renews Team China sponsorship deal
Chinese sports brand Anta has extended its contract with the winter sports management arm of the country’s general administration of sport for another four years ahead of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, local media have reported.

The company is a long-term partner of China’s Olympic delegation, beginning with its support of Team China during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

At an early November signing ceremony at the Yanqing National Alpine Ski Centre, attended by Beijing 2022 gold medallists Wu Dajing and Xu Mengtao, the two parties also jointly released a new set of official quality standards for down jackets used by the national team.

This latest series of technical requirements are based on the know-how Anna has accrued over its long association with Chinese athletes, reports said. Included are specifications regarding fabrics, linings, down content (at least 90% of each jacket’s filling must be down), functionality and more, with key updates related to heat retention, moisture permeability and both wear and tear resistance.

A catwalk-style show featuring Mr Wu, Ms Xu and several professional models concluded the day’s events.

EA7 Emporio Armani signed a similar contract with the Italian Winter Sports Federation last month
