Anta to invest almost $150m in Suzhou operations
Sports group Anta, based in China’s Fujian province, has cemented plans to construct an international operations centre in the city of Suzhou.

During a signing ceremony in late September, the company’s executive director and chief financial officer, Lai Shixian, described the site as a locus for business restructuring across retail and customer experience through the integration of logistics, sales and digital processes.

Total investment in the facility will exceed $140 million (¥1 billion), local media reported, with a 160,000-square-metre complex expected to be built within the city’s Dushu Lake Science and Education Innovation District inside the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park (Suzhou Industrial Park). Construction will commence next year, with a view for the centre to be operational by 2025.

Anta’s current strategic vision for logistics is rooted in its national 5+N strategy, involving five first-tier regional warehouses and a series of second-tier intelligent warehouses, all designed to work together to enable more efficient retail and distribution services via an automated logistics network.
